Surrounded by beautiful trees the space offers a serene and inspiring backdrop for young minds to explore and grow.
Inside, The Hive boasts a large, open-plan space designed for diverse learning and imaginative play.
A dedicated maker space fosters creativity, with tools and materials for hands-on projects and artistic expression. The pretend play area sparks imagination and role play, while the games zone offers a fun space for interactive learning and social development.
A science space fuels curiosity, allowing children to experiment and explore the natural world, while the cozy reading nook provides time for calm and literature
exploration.
ABOUT Jacalyn
Jacalyn is a dedicated homeschooling mother and the founder of The Hive. Jacalyn and her husband were concerned about the influences and challenges young children face in mainstream schools and have been on a mission to create a space that allows children to simply be kids.
Jacalyn’s vision is that The Hive will be a nurturing, pressure-free environment where children can truly thrive. A place where creativity is unhurried and joy is abundant.
With a background as a youth worker and a Diploma in Community Services, Jacalyn has facilitated youth groups, drop-in programs, and is passionate about environments where young people can build confidence and explore their interests safely. Jacalyn's commitment to nurturing children's growth is at the heart of everything she does.
